DK Movement Cares is a non-profit 501(c)3 public charity located in Bristol CT, whose mission is to provide compassionate care and support to individuals, children, families, and those with special needs. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others. Through our events and fundraising efforts, we aim to raise awareness and funds for other non-profit organizations that share our vision of creating a better world for those in need. Our ultimate goal is to empower individuals and communities to lead fulfilling lives and reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances.

DK Movement Cares is a non-profit organization founded by Derek and Kelly, two individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others and the community. They shared their life stories with others, to inspire them to become the best version of themselves. In 2021, they established their own clothing brand DK Movement, utilizing the funds from sales to support their community efforts. However, they wanted to be able to do more, and DK Movement Cares was established in 2023 with the goal of providing assistance and support to individuals, children, families, and those with special needs through various fundraising events and initiatives. 

Derek and Kelly understand the challenges that families and children face in accessing essential services such as healthcare, education, food, and housing. They also recognize the importance of mental health and emotional support for individuals and families going through difficult times. They believe that every family and child deserve to live in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment, and that no one should be left behind or left out due to circumstances beyond their control.
